That'd a valid point. I never thought of that...

Seems to me that the club's willingness to tolerate members and families being killed and not kill the people responsible has reached a level that makes them not believeable as a motorcycle club. In real life, M/C members have killed people for saying they're club members or for failign to show the proper respect, wearing the wrong clubs patch in the wrong territory, etc. And, as far as a threat, clubs have gone to war with guns and bombs against clubs many, many times bigger and more powerful. I'm not buying an M/C that doesn't kill Pope and the deputies from the jail ASAP - the SoA have just become too "kind and gentle" to be believable.

You realize that you are talking about pimples on a butt, right? Pope is the butt. The Sons are a small pimple. It's a shock that Pope even TALKS to Jax. I think he sees some profit in it - and that's why he's bothering.
The further they go with this series, the more sense you have of how small-time these guys are. First season - esp. the first several episodes - they were king d-word. 4 years later, you realize they are a very VERY small fish in a big huge pond filled with whales.
They've held back retaliation before. This isn't new. And I don't think a 1% club would survive if they killed everyone that crossed them. Eventually, the blood would be so deep that the thing would fold. They don't have the depth to go that route. (Either in the series or real life. Guys with rides that wanna kill aren't stacked up. Where as, guys in the inner city who are looking to get ahead and have little morals are a dime a dozen.)

I wasn't suprised at all it was Opie. He has been nothing but pissed off and depressed since his wife died. Tig needs to go. He has caused the death of too many people. I hope they throw him in the fire pit to.

Yep. This weeks episode was kinda lacking. I mean this whole Smits escort service while having affair w/ Jemma is lacking. Who Cares?
Kill Tig and dump Clay while you are at it. Just go back to working the tow jobs during the day and getting drunk at bars at night. Maybe with Zito and Coones in the show, the HA will come to Charming and show the Sons how it is done.

Believable or not, it's just a TV show strictly for prime time entertainment purposes. Look at all the CSI's... they have been some of the most popular shows for years and they're loaded with unbelievable fake crap, but they are still somewhat entertaing.

They always have a low key episode or two after an intense one. They have been doing that since season one. Im kind of sick of Gemma being on screen. She gets annoying.

I'm 99.99% sure Pope's killing will be this seasons finale

I hope they make it a good one. would be cool to see them hang him up and go at him with a cutting torch like they did with that ex member's back tat.

So I just found out on another forum that the new member they voted in at the beginning of the season, is played by Chuck Zito, former president of the Hells Angels' New York Nomad chapter. I did say, when I watched the last episode, that "at least the new guy looks like a real biker."

At least it's still more believable than "The Devil's Ride."

You are right, but he's not the only one. Tara is becoming Gemma and Clay is becoming Piney. Before long, you'll see him riding Piney's trike, which they were setting up when he dropped his bike a couple of episodes back and, of course, the oxygen tank. The idea seems to be showing how the characters got where they are, by having other characters become their opposite/nemesis.

I'll bet that they go to deal with that guard and find him at home, in normal clothes with his family. Pity will set in and he will live.

Maybe......I'll bet though, that there will be more to come out about this officer. He is probably connected to the club somehow, or something.
