I'm pretty bummed about it. The only characters left that I even halfway like are Chibs and Jax. But they don't even hold a candle to Opie.
Damn shame.

I agree. Ryan Hurst really nailed the Outlaw biker character and look more than any of them I think.

For some reason I see Tig as a more loyal character than most here think. For the past few seasons he has been almost an afterthought in the club while he tries to step up, but they won't let him. Almost like the middle child trying desperately to impress their parents.

Opie showed how far his loyalty ran and went out like a true bad ass

Yeah, he's been a little impulsive which has brought him some trouble, but he's basically a solid "club" member.

until i see opie in a body bag with the "Y" stitches or his coffin going into the ground i refuse to believe he's actually dead.
sorry but of all the characters they could have killed off i just can't bring myself to believe they picked opie. yeah yeah i know sutter is "real" or whatever but i'm hoping he's not quite that dumb. i mean this is ope we're talking about here.

In the preview for next week they showed the Sons carrying a coffin. Pretty sure that would be Opie's.

Kurt Sutter:
"September 27, 2012not sure if folks know this yet, but johnny lewis (halfsack) died last night. the sad irony of it happening two days after opie's death is not lost on me. it was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way. i wish i could say that i was shocked by the events last night, but i was not. i am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. yes, it's day or mourning, but it's also a day of awareness and gratitude. sadly, some of us carry the message by dying." via Twitter.

The skank brawl was a bit over the top. At this point the best thing Jax could do is round up Gemma, Clay, and Pope and send them all back to the LOST Island.

Spooky on the timing of you bringing up this somewhat forgotten character up when you did.

Gonna miss Opie. I think teaming up with Nero is a HORRIBLE idea! The club has more than enough on their plates to deal with now as it is...

The speed at which Tara could lose all Gemma perspective seemed contrived.

Mark my words: Jax is becoming Clay. It'll come out at some point that he is the one who dropped dime on Nero. He sees a non-drug, non-gun way of making piles of cash.
