My Sling Set Up

I'm sharing this info because I had a hard time finding it myself, even with all that Google can do. I knew I needed to go two point as far as being practical in its use. I also wanted an option for one point as that's what I've used in the past. I went with the Padded Vtac and bought a few QD swivels. I then began searching for mount options. I came up with:

IWC Triglide : http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...t-convertible/

MOUNT-N-SLOT :http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...-detach-sling/

http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...-mount-n-slot/

And NOVESKE QD End-Plate (FLUSH!)

IWC makes a QD cup that sits flush with the MOE handguard. It requires drilling a hole in the MOE but is well worth it.

It's almost than half the price of the MOUNT-N-SLOT too.

The MOUNT-N-SLOT doesn't stick out that far but still, I like the micro flush one.

What sling is that? I think that may work the best for me.

Sling: http://www.blueforcegear.com/vickers-padded-sling/

Buckle w/QD Swivel (shorter and less complex than the one I put together, don't believe it was available at the time): http://www.blueforcegear.com/product...l-Adapter.html

MASH Hook: http://www.blueforcegear.com/mash-hook/

MOE Handguard Mount (newer version, slightly angled out, looks nice): http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...s2-ms3-slings/

Receiver end plate w/QD socket (Noveske version, slimmer than my DD): http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...-qd-end-plate/

You can find a small D ring just about anywhere, and thread it through the sling just ahead of the buckle for single point capability.

If I had a bunch of extra money right now I'd probably upgrade my handguard mount, end plate socket, and buckle, as the newer versions look a bit more streamlined, but mine works great as is

IWC = Mount N Slot

Just two different styles of mounts
