Hello from CT
Hello to you all - I'm a husband and a father who has just submitted his pistol paperwork. I have been a longgun guy for a bit and am part of a local gun club. I never had any interest in shooting pistol competitions at my club and never, for some reason, felt the need to carry a gun on me daily.
...but for some reason I knew enough to have some weapons for Home Defense? seems foolish looking back on it now and am glad I "woke up" to the fact that I should be armed daily as it is my right and duty to protect my family if the situation comes at us while outside the home.
I have shot a friend's Glock 17 a few times when I have brought him along for range time, I like it. I am not sure what gen it is but then, that is why I am here.
I have a lot of reading to do!
I know that my 2 weapons of choice will be a G17/G26 - I just need to research the difference between generations. NO NO! don't spill it here! let me explore the site as Im sure its all over the place somewhere here!
Glad to be here, hope to learn a lot and in the future , do some sharing as well.
