SKS? AK? or Mosin?
They are all a lot of fun to shoot! What do you prefer the most? I used to have all 3. I put them in chronological order for this pic.

Of the three, I've only ever owned and shot the AK-47, which I love. It's my "End of Humanity" gun; I've got 6 hi-cap mags for it.

Sks-m
The AK doesn't fit me at all and the Mosin is a waste of time.

The WASR 10/63 in the pic was one of my favorite guns. I shouldn't have let it go. Hold on to yours!

AK, but now they're all too expensive for what they are. $75 Mosin, $150 SKS, and $350 AK I could go for, but those days are gone.

I HAD an AK-47. It was a good one too. It was an older Bulgarian Arsenal.
I HAD a Mosin. It was a good one too. It was a Finnish M39.
I sold them both.
I HAVE 6 SKS rifles. They are good ones too. I have 5 Russians and a Chinese.
They're not for sale.

I own a Mosin 91/30 and it's was cheap and it's fun to shoot. I've never been and AK guy. I also own a pristine Yugo SKS and that is by far my favorite SHTF rifle. They just don't build rifles like that anymore it is built like a tank.

Have all three, but I think my favorite is the fourth, a Polish Tantal side folder AK-74.

I also own a M1 Garand it is by far my favorite rifle but in all honesty it's very old(1955) and if I had to make a choice at this present time to go to war with one of them I'll take my 1969 Yugo over the Garand to save my life.

I like my SKS (paid $90.00, all matching SN) its one fun gun to shoot. The Mosin is fun but kick a little hard. AKs are fun to shoot too however the one I shot you have to bury your chick into the stock just to alien the sites, very uncomfortable.

Don't think I've ever come across a person before who's actually shot a SKS say they hate the SKS and would take a Mosin over one. Hard to hate a gun that works everytime takes the same round 762x39 round as an AK and that is more accurate in many peoples eyes then an AK.

I have a 91/30 , Finn M39, and a yugo 59/66 and while my faverite rifle is still the M39 the SKS is growing on me. Lighter recoil, semi automatic , and for me shoots better than a 91/30

Has your Tantal been reliable? I've been considering one.

Well since I can't own an AK, my choice is SKS, then Mosin

Of the three I'd pick a Sniper Mosin Nagant. In reality I'd pick the M1 Garand everytime.
