I was told the match won't be back at Metro next year. Negotiations at Desert Sportsman didn't start off well. Maybe no match after the shot show next year. I was looking forward to a change of venue but not a cancellation. Maybe there is still hope.
I had heard they were trying to get it back to Desert Sportsman also but not that there were problems. I wonder if the new range up north would be an option? Looks like a nice place from the photos.
I am a member at Desert Sportsman and would love to see it there. I spoke to a board member who said another board member had quoted Glock a ridiculous price for holding the match there. The member I spoke to was trying to change the quoted price to a realistic amount as he would like to see the match held there.
