That was the 2 best teams in the country battling last night, again.
If I were you folks I would be worried about A&M being the underdog spoiler after the emotion of last night.

I don't think A&M has a defense close to LSU. If Alabama can move the ball, Johnny Football doesn't get as many opportunities to be a trouble maker.

I agree. Bama wont face another defense like that, even in the bcs game. It's the hangover I'd worry about.
But let's not forget that LSU's lukewarm offense put almost 500 yds vs the vaunted bama D. ATM won't be a cakewalk.

The big number there is they only crossed the goal line twice. LSU for sure showed how to move the ball against bama. But teams don't get points running up yardage between the 20's.
Johnny Football might be harder to corral.

Was Alabama that bad or did Mettenberger have a once in a season night?
If TA&M can't keep Alabama from moving the ball, which LSU did for the most part, then Bama keeps JM off the field and out of the endzone.
I'm hoping the LSU game was a motivational, attention getting, aberration.

From the games I have seen Mettenberger has looked terrible all year. The LSU vs Bama was by far the best he and LSU have looked all year (from what I have seen).
We (A&M) looked great against LSU to start with and then we had a couple awful turnover right before halftime that lead to 2 easy TD's. Mettenberger looked really bad most of that game. Our kicker missing 2 FG's and a PAT contributed to the loss.
I just hope our game this week vs Bama doesn't come down to a FG, because our kicker sucks.

I have watched LSU this season and Mett has been bad. Couldn't run, couldn't pass and poor decisions. Time will tell if he has come of age or just had a once in a lifetime game.

LSU's offense is not very good, particularly with regard to touchdowns. Bama's defense made them look like a million bucks though. ATM has the film and a better offense.
Mettenberger has looked terrible all year. He only really had a good half against bama.

Ouch, that really hurts, somebody from the SEC accusing another team of cheating.
I think next year they should play the BCS championship game up north. You know, in a place where they play football like it is meant to be played. 20* and a foot of snow.
Don't worry tOSU is off this week so Alabama might be able to catch up to 10-0.
