I have not heard one SEC coach, or any coach for that matter, oppose a play off. The Alabama coach was very much in favor.

There is a 14 team play off now. It culminates with the SEC title game. Everyone else in the country is playing to see who gets their *** kicked by the SEC winner in the BCS title game.

How many teams are 9-0? Only one.

That's not what happened last year...

I'll readily admit the SEC is the best conference, but the BCS is the biggest joke in sports. Such a great game and great season utterly ruined year after year.

Your home team bias and Oregon hatred is comical.

Oregon has the easiest schedule out of the remaining unbeaten teams. Notre Dame should pass them this week, that is a fact.

No one is unbeatable in any given game. LSU has a chance. Would I bet money on them? No. Alabama may be (probably is) the best team in the country but they are not unbeatable. It should be a low scoring game where breaks could determine the outcome.

In the National Championship picture, Oregon is not relevant enough to hate. They have not lost a game and have fallen from 2 to 4. Notre dame will pass them in the next week or two. But then, ND is playing big boy football and it won't go unnoticed if they win out.

Oregons schedule reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer was "dominating the dojo"

How is the playoff lineup gonna be determined? Via rankings, or best in conference, or some other arbitrary means?

If you have a 4 team playoff, with two SEC teams, you'll likely end up with those two playing for the championship more often than not. Unless they want a repeat of the SEC championship game in the first round? I don't get how this will all work. Unless they institute some complete SEC discrimination in the selection process.

Flippin through channels and Auburn and Kentucky's stadiums are almost empty. Good day to get a free ticket to watch a bad football team.

Certified Funds, good luck today. May the best team win...ROLL TIDE!

Auburn and Kentucky, loves eeing them mentioned in same sentence.

Today is D day for the SEC. An LSU win and SEC is probably out of NC game. Sure there are pleny of folks are hoping for that. course if the playoff system was in place, one of them might be back in.

An LSU win would further prove that the SEC is a very tough conference. An Alabama win will just indicate one very dominant team.

Out of Conference wins tell people way more what time it is. It's the only true way to gauge anything, that and common opponents.

Take Notre Dame...Great team and a good season, Just like Alabama...but look at their common opponent...Michigan.

Alabama pummeled Michigan on a neutral field. Notre Dame played Michigan at home and barely won. Of course, the Notre Dame win at Oklahoma really convinced me that this Notre Dame team is for real.

You are delusional. If LSU wins out, they would certainly play in the title game.

not going to jump K State, ND and Oregon if they win out. If 2 of the 3 end up with a loss only chance for LSU.

But that will all be decided tonight.

Agree, ND looking good so far. If they win out, they jump K State.

It would not surprise me much to see no unbeaten teams at the end of the season.
