Well I sure expected Mississippi State to put up a better fight. On to LSU...College Gameday will be there. Alabama is a 3 1/2 point favorite right now. I think we'll win by 10-13 points.

Notre Dame does look good. I gotta give them credit. Besides Kansas State, the Big 12 sucks. Texas looked pitiful against a bad Kansas team.

Notre Dame is for real. Last night's game against Oklahoma (in Norman) proved it for sure. It sure convinced me Notre Dame will be 11-0 by the time they play Southern Cal (at USC).

If Alabama somehow gets upset by LSU...we may very likely see Notre Dame play Oregon for the National Championship.

I always thought Notre Dame picked a good new head coach in Kelly, I just worried about their academic standards in keeping their players eligible. Lou Holtz was a truly great coach and I'm thinking this new ND coach is definitely the REAL DEAL...that he will have teams to worry about in the next few years.

Notre Dame's QB is only a freshman and Notre Dame now has a good (Great ) Defensive scheme.

Alabama is definitely the REAL DEAL also. No doubt. Convincingly beating a solid Miss State team is proof of that. But they're going into Death Valley against an LSU team that had a bye week and is only concentrating on beating them.

Alabama is going to have to beat LSU if the SEC is going to be represented in the BCS National Championship.

Nobody can predict the future, Notre Dame could be upset by Southern Cal, Oregon could be upset by Southern Cal too.

But even when the Oklahoma game was close, it was easy for anybody to tell that Notre Dame was dominating the entire game (I had to work the FAU-Troy State game last night) and I heard most of the ND game on Sirius radio driving on my way home. A recently, "hot on fire" Oklahoma team was not doing much against the ND defense.

I truly believe, at this time, that Notre Dame would give Alabama an incredible game/fight

Don't ever count out those Clemson Tigers. My FSU Noles are good, maybe even better....but I still think they (FSU) make stupid decisions.

I'm missing something here...I thought Mike Slive was the one pushing for a playoff. Also, most of the people down here I've spoken too favour a playoff.

Clemson can still very well get the ACC Championship again

They could but the remaining schedule scares me.

Duke is easy to sleep on or overlook
Maryland always gives Clemson fits
NC State seems to be legit.
SC's defense is great if at full strength.

I'm just glad that Clemson's defense is improving. Hopefully both FSU and Clemson will make - and win - BCS bowls this year.

I really like UAB. great school! Believe it or not, it was our school's (FAU's) only win last year. Funny yet boring story, their (UAB's) equipment truck broke down last year after reaching our stadium, major problems, so FAU hired him and gave him work until he could fix his truck. I sure never expected our team to beat UAB because UAB even upset UCF and FIU last year.

UAB is in Confrence USA, as is UCF (for this year at least). FAU , Troy, and FIU are all in the Sunbelt conference. Still, these athletes are great. Look how last season's FAU's dead last place team's running back, Alfred Morris, is now a star on the Washington Redskins playing along side with RG III.

Hopefully ND goes to #3 in the poles. Oregon's schedule is a complete joke. They play their best team next week and that is a USC team that just lost to Arizona. Boise State has a harder schedule than Oregon. I have to give it up to Kansas State though, they are legit this year.

However due to LSU's non-existent passing game LSU's offense will stumble early. Settle for a dg or 2.
