Lovin the GAP Floor Plate

I finally got some GAP floor plates for my G 26, and they make a huge difference in how my grip feels. It seems to make tucking the pinky feel natural and def helps with the draw. Thanks to GT for clueing me in to this inexpensive fix!

sounds good I had always thought of getting some of those but just never got around to doing it LOL... Ive heard nothing but good things about them... Glad they worked out for ya..

I've been experimenting with these the past month or so. I really didn't think they would make a difference but they do. Definitely helps with the draw from deep concealment and gives me a better grip on the gun with two fingers.

Not a must, as in the guns worthless without it. But the best possible addition to a sub-compact model possible.

I find the Pearce PG-2733 floor plates (pinky extension) a great fit for my G26. Also allows the mag to stand straight up to reload easier. I do not us it to add extra rounds to the mag.

I agree, for $20 you cant go wrong and they are simple to install as well. Your 2 finger grip is improved so much that the pinky is almost forgotten. Try it you wont be disappointed.

Sorry, but I hate to disagree with you. I had bought a set for my g27 magazines, found that they did absolutely nothing for the grip on the gun. The only thing that they are good for in my opinion is pulling magazines out of mag holders or maybe pulling the gun out of the holster itself. I actually found that I grip the gun better with the normal magazines without the GAP floor plate. Save your money.

Agree with above. Gun still functions great w/o GAP plates, but the GAPs make drawing AND mag removal a bit easier, IMO.

And how is either of the above a bad thing? If they don't help your grip, that is your decision. But assisting a quicker draw? I'd add every tiny bit of help for quick drawing I could!

Next time at the range, try to consciously push up on the GAP's forward tab with both pinkies. See what happens to your recoil control.

No reason for a downward pointing tab to snag on the upward draw stroke.

Never had any issues with mine.

All my subcompact mags have GAP plates on them.

I have noticed if my Glock 26 is too far back when I carry it the tab will unbuckle my seatbelt. Just need to carry closer to aiwb instead of my normal 3 or 4 o'clock position.

The grip is subject to hand size and just preference or feel. I didnt hate the way it felt without the GAP FP, but I liked the extended mag better for feel, just because my pinky had a natural place to go. With the Gap FP you securely are gripping with 2 fingers and the pinky just feels natural underneath. I just figured it was worth a shot for the money, glad I did. And if you dont like them you will have no problem selling them with little loss.

have them on all my G27 mags and they're great. Found no benefit at all on my G23 or G22.

I pocket carry my G26 w/ GAP floor plates on them all the time in cargo shorts front pockets.

NEVER an issue.

Anyone who has a baby Glock and doesn't at least try these is really missing out!!!

I like them. Easy mod to reverse if you feel they aren't for you. For $20, it's not too bad

I carry every place I am legally allowed to do so, and every day that I can (experience established?), and find the GAP plates to be a huge improvement in gripping and firing my G39. Have just purchased a G27, and already have them for that pistol. Worth a "risk" at $20 for two plates. Cheers.

It is for the G27, but not really for the G26 IMO. Although, I liked them so much on my G27 mags, that I got them for all of my G26 mags too.

Great for my 39s. I am thinking of putting them on my 26 mags now. They lock your two fingers onto the grip. With rapid fire and stout rounds, the grip can sometimes squirm around in my hand (especially when I am sweating). The GAP plates lock the little 39 right in there. I like them.
