Hard cast 9mm

Best manufacture for these? I think buffalo bore and double make them but don't know who to choose.

Also I believe it's okay to shoot some cast bullets from my Glock.

I really like the Buffalo Bore 9mms I've shot the 115 JHP +P+ & got just over 1400fps.

As for shooting lead bullets in the Glock, I've shot some & did get more leading than I thought I should so I quit. Glock says not to so I'm not going to any more unless I decide to buy a Lone Wolf bbl with conventional rifling. I'm not sure you'd void the warranty, but if something did go wrong Glock could very well say sorry you used ammo not recommended.

Go dig through the other thousands of threads about shooting lead in Glocks, I do it all the time with an aftermarket barrel. I enjoy more shooting for less money with no problems in my 32..

Quarter Tank,

Shooting lead bullets through the stock barrel is fine. I been doing it for 14 years in the Glock. I use mostly hard cast that run 18 to 21 bhn (hardness) and have NEVER had an issue with this, and I shoot a ton of lead, far more than jacketed, cause i hand load.

Get an AM barrel if ya want to save brass life, but it ain't needed to shoot lead. Again, I shoot 200gr Hard cast through the G20 stock barrel, and accuracy is plenty good even at 100yds for Texas deer.

BB makes a good "factory round" if ya want quality factory loaded bullets, go with BB. Just don't use them for human SD loads... They are NOT for SD on humans !

Even in the 9mm, a Hard Cast bullet will go through several folks, not for human SD.... ! not in a populated area for sure..

Good luck
