What the heck? Blackberry..

Why in the world would I have Blackberry devices in Device manager and a Blackberry Process?

I've never had a Blackberry. do other devices use Blackberry drivers?

This is something new. They weren't there last week.

Is this on a personal or work controlled computer?

Have you installed any software since last week?

Is your Bluetooth enabled? They use that to talk to other devices but have to exchange codes to successfully connect.

We use a Kace Kbox systems management appliance to monitor our work computers. We install the Blackberry drivers on all computers, and many of the computers here have the BB desktop software installed. I just searched our Kbox and none of the computers have a Windows Process with "blackberry" in the name.

Google didn't turn up anything related. I would suspect that you have malware. Please right click on the process in Task Manager, click Properties, and take a screenshot (only of the properties window) and post it here.

The process is gone. It's name was something like 'Blkbe...'

The devices are still in device manager. This is very strange. I've never had a BB device.
