Hello from Minneapolis
Hi All. Been lurking here for a while and thought I should say "hi" since I just responded to my first thread here. I am new to Glocks. I started shooting other brands 4 years ago, and evolved to carrying and shooting primarily a Gen4 G19 and a Gen4 G21. They quickly became my favorite guns. Thanks for all the great info and conversations on this site!

I also had no need for NV, so I went with the 512. As far as the submersion, if I'm 10 feet under water and still holding onto my rifle, something has gone terribly awry and I don't think an extra 23 feet is going to matter to me. YMMV

I actually live NW of the cities in the Buffalo area. My office is in the Western burbs, but I am all over town for work (commercial construction).
