Just bought an Eotech 512 for $262.25 shipped

Hey all,

Right now, Amazon is doing a 20% off any sporting goods purchase if you use their Amazon Visa to pay for it. Upon signing up you also get $30 gift card as well. This means, I just bought a new Eotech 512 for $262.25 shipped to my door!

By no means do I support the habitual use of credit cards. I am actually quite against them. However, knowing I will have no problem paying the card off and closing it before any interest is calculated, I made an exception.

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement.

Where did you see this deal? I already have the Amazon Visa card but I'm not seeing this advertised anywhere.

That was my thought! Even if you just pay with your own debit card, their price is $365 shipped right now.

I still can't believe it. I was going to buy a Vortex Strikefire for my first AR build, wanted an Eotech, so I am thrilled. And it literally took about 5 minutes from the time I was applying for the Amazon rewards card, to getting an order confirmation email. Amazon automatically applied my $30 gift card, and then I put in a promotion code for the 20%.

The only thing it said it would give me is up to a year of 0% interest. It didn't show where I could save 30 dollars either.

The promo was posted on this very forum:

http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/show....php?t=1431551

Go to the main amazon page, scroll down almost to the bottom, on the right hand side it has a link to "get the amazon rewards card and get $30 instantly as a gift card".

If you sign up instantly and receive the $30 off, then you still won't have the card to get the extra 20% off. Unless you get approved for the card and they charge it to your account before you receive the card? Right?

Yea, it took just 30 seconds to approve me, then they automatically add the card info to your payment options. Use the promo code at checkout and it will give you a total of $292 shipped. If you got the $30 gift card also by signing up, it should apply it automatically. Making the total $262.

In your area, finding a used Aimpoint M2 for the same price would be easy. I'd take the Aimpoint over the EO Tech every time.

Starting cost went up to $399 today. So now it'd be right at $300 shipped.

ETA: I spoke too soon, if you look under other vendor offers, it's still there for $365.

Woohoo!

Click the image to open in full size.

Inspection date is 6/12/12 so it's recent production. I'm stoked that I was able to get the optic I actually wanted.

I decided to spring for two day shipping for an extra $7. I figured since it was such a good deal, i'd get my grubbies on it as soon as possible.
