CW series ????
On the fence here fellows...trying to decide which one to purchase...I first was looking at the CW40 ..but it seems if one of the bunch has issues its the CW40...
Now I'm trying to decide between the three..I like the 45 acp cartridge ..but the CW9 seems much easier to conceal ??
Which do you guys prefer..and why

If you are going to do concealed carry, I wouldn't get *any* of the CW series. The CM series are about the same price, and much more concealable.

How are you going to carry it? If pocket carry, then the CM series, if waist carry then the extra grip length on the CW series is more forgiving of a less than perfect initial grasp while in the holster.
9mm ammo is usually cheaper...

The CW9 shoots well and hides well. It also is easy to grip. The CM9 fits in a pocket easier. I like the CW9.YMMV.tom.

Like others have said, it depends on how you're going to carry. I've had a CW40 and a CW45. Both shot fantastic and were very nice for the money. In the CW class, the CW9 and CW40 are a little smaller than the CW45. I wouldn't call them pocket pistols though, these are best in OWB or IWB.
I currently own a CM9 and it's been flawless as well, but is much better suited for pocket carry.

Ditto on all above. However, before you get a CM for pocket carry try one out. I weigh 175 and pocket carrying a CM9 looks like I shoplifted a grapefruit whenever I take a step. The P3AT is the biggest I can pocket carry. When waist carrying I find no difference between the two. I stick with my old P-9 with a decent cant and carry it under knit shirts everyday. That would be the same size as a CW-9 which I recommend highly.

I bought a CW9 a couple years ago. It only hid marginally better than my G26. It stayed in the safe. I recently summoned up the courage to cut a 1/2" off the grip and put in a 6rd mag. It hides well now and is a constant companion. Pocket or IWB, it is gone!

My father has a CW9 he bought used. The gun has been flawless for him. Great for conceal carry. A little big for pocket carry. He says he will pass it on to me one day, since I have a good story around the purchase of the gun.
