what a nice wonderful weather. It starts to snow soon here. Not that it usually snows in October, but it seems like it does this year.

anyone have an open top cuff case they are willing to part with? I was told in the new position I have to carry cuffs, but the boss frowned with the tucking them behind the belt trick. I thought plain clothes duty meant I was to carry less gear!

Btw I wonder how many planes crashed because of conversion issues. All these 1/8, 1/16, 1/65823.. wtf. At least it seems like the British guys changed to kmh and the metric system somehow

British vehicles crashed because of Whitworth wrenches and bolts/nuts. Whitworth fasteners make NO sense to anyone, other than British mechanical engineers!

Thought I read one of the earlier Mars landers that crashed was due to conversion issues, something about the systems involved in the landing. Some were using English measurements, some were using metric.

I am happy that the curse of Schramm/Landry is still strong.

Jerry Jones is an arrogant sociopath.

Maybe they should let the second string play.

Was sort of hot today, at a nice low 20C range all day with the sun shining. If you stay in the shade, it's pretty pleasant, but stand in the sun or sit in an idle car with no A/C going, it gets hot.

Far better than the poor NYC, NY, NJ, and Pennsylvania coppers. Those men and women are going to need long vacations after that storm is over.

Yep, prayers for those brothers and sisters to make it out alright and get some rest after they do their duty.
