Oatmeal by the way can accomplish similar damage.

I think she's saving the grits for a special occasion, like forgetting sweetest day. I'll see if she'll make me some Al Green style oatmeal if I forget our anniversary....

That's okay, we flip flop between summer and winter. It was in the eighties today and pretty warm, even hot in the afternoon. Last week we had to wear medium/heavy jackets.

Funny thing is, I think Outback steakhouse may have better crab legs than Red Lobster.... No lie, they are pretty good...

Red Lobster does have good bread. Better than Panera bread.

I have no feel for when it comes to Fahrenheit. Its like you are just making up numbers.
If you told me that 80 means snow and ice I would believe you, if you told me that its horribly hot, I would believe you too.

Little bit too old for me, but she is a nice person from what I know. Dont tell her that I said she is old, might deny my visa next time.

It's both. We have at least 30F difference between day and night. Or... For both of you German speakers, we are around high 25-28C daytime and maybe 15C at night.

American forum. American rules.
It is federal law here in the US that the metric system is supposed to be looked upon with derision. We are required to turn our noses up at those who use the metric system and snort while we ignore them . . . under penalty of law.

It certainly seems that way betwixt US and the UK British standards.

OK - saw Cloud Atlas tonight. Wish I could tell you what it was about. I have no idea.
I wanted to like this movie - but I couldn't. Maybe if I could make myself watch it again, I might like better, but I don't think I could do that again.

From what I understand, it's basically another take on the Butterfly Effect, where something that happens in time, has a ripple effect throughout the ages and impact everything else in its wake, no matter how remote.
The book was better.

It's no wonder that we Americans are failing in the sciences. I was busy doing vector/tensor analysis calculations in class and could not understand why I was getting different outcomes. Someone forgot part of the equation converting kilo-newtons to pounds. It would be a lot easier not having to memorize the myriad of conversion equations between the metric system and the Imperial system.
Honestly, the metric system makes sense and why we didn't adopt it in the 1970's is beyond me.

Worse, he's a metric hippie. They're 1.609 times worse than a regular hippie...
