I hate being sick. I was planning on going to shoot a little more today, but my lungs and the rest of my body are having one of those days. I finally ate my lunch, and I feel a little sicker. Time to rest I guess, and stay out the family's way while they bake.

Eat till you're tired.
Sleep till you're hungry.
Your illness will be gone in no time.

For the last 6 months, I have been religiously washing my hands as soon as practical everytime I touch something out in public or shake someone's hand, and no matter what, I wash my hands before I eat or snack on anything. I notice my incidence of being sick around this time has gone to almost zero, aside from one small cough which was very mild in comparison to what it could have been.
Imagine that. Good hygiene prevents illness.

Back from Germany. Really enjoyed the first week of this seminar. Lots of nice colleagues from around Europe attended it. I didn't expect it to be that cool and funny. It was like spending a week with friends (getting drunk every second day too). Also interesting from a professional point of view... just to mention it

That works well for everything but airborne. Airborne pathogens can be fought against by hand washing, only in terms of contact with items that may have the airborne pathogens on them. So, it does help in that area some. The best thing I have found is a healthy diet; not to over work, and rest as necessary; and take in addition to the diet nutritional supplements, and herbs, and minerals that help out. But, sometimes regardless of how much a person does contact is inevitably made, especially in working in the confines of a prison.
I usually take things like echinacea, (out currently), golden seal, and elderberry; along with increasing garlic. That works well to cut viral and bacterial infections short, if they aren't something that is bone deep. I also have plenty of probiotics in my kefir which has been helping. Fortunately I should be over this stuff in a couple of days.

I hear you there. I do a little of that eating. I got a lot of sleep today. After processing kefir, and catching up with a couple of things I will probably even take a nap.

Around here depending on where you are at the use of fresh garlic, and other forms of garlic are quite common.
Should you ever come this way go into an old Mexican grocery store. We have those in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas. Also, Oriental and Italian, as well as other various ethnic groups, (very many here in the area).

Well, we don't have legalized prostitution like Germany... except for Pahrump County which is 50 miles outside of Las Vegas... or so I heard... and those girls are not good looking.
HBO has a series called "Cathouse" and it shows one of the whorehouses and those girls are pretty nasty looking and men are paying 4 figures for an hour... what the hell? Makes no sense to me.

Yes... point proven by girls not giving a damn about us rolling around in a decrepit Crown Victoria in a college town because our good looks overcame that POS. I still think that tall blonde one was disappointed you didn't talk to her.

Haha. The sexy transvestite was black.
The blonde girl was the one who hollered at you when we drove through Westwood with all those college parties.
