the wife sat down and watched children of the corn with me for the first time. She was didn't realize the overall creepy factor has more to do in the way the movie was shot. We have officially started our "season of horror flicks" where every night we are both off work till day of the dead we will watch some classic or newer horror flick.
Suggestions?

Nutty night last night... Shots fired at a bar, followed by a pursuit. Then a man with a gun making bomb threats at an apartment building and a short standoff. All in the pouring rain...
Fun times!

Last Sunday morning after church I was talking with an acquaintance of mine who is with Leavenworth PD. They have lost a lot of people there due to those folks seeking greener pastures. All of them usually start in Kansas with a PD that will sponsor their academy. It's an old story with Leavenworth, as the city government doesn't tend to pay their LE well. With as much property tax as is collected each year you would think they would be able to pay them a little better for the work that they do. On the flip side of the coin, they are probably hiring.

Kansas City proper, and closer surrounding small cities seem to get most of the fun still. Fortunately we don't have as much making the news right here or in nearby Lansing.

Not really. Maybe some classic Alfred Hitchcock movies. Although he was a mamzer.

The govt. vehicle I drive is equipped to run Code 3 but I have to have a darn good reason to flip it on, and traffic enforcement isn't it.

I was done with english first.
I was the only one to clearly make it (three correct exercises out of four).
Only one girl also passed it somehow, the other ones didnt.

34 and a good frost on the ground this morning. That should kill a good amount of the ragweed so I can breathe again.

Besides antihistamine tablets, I find parsley actually helps very quickly to alleviate some of those symptoms of allergies. Although, lately I seem to be having a little trouble with canned tomato products.

Due to some of the meds I am I am limited to the antihistamines I can take. Fresh parsley does help and have used it in the past, although this year for some reason there has been a huge flare up over the last week or so with weed pollens. There was a hard freeze across the U.P. so we are about 18 days out from our first killing hard freeze in my parts.
