Stock Glock sight style in Night sights?

I am talking about the rear U with the front dot. I love it, and I am much more accurate with it than any other sight system. I am having a hard time finding a night sight version of it. Does one exist?

I'll be checking back here because I feel the same way. I wish they had the exact same sight picture in night sites. I like the U as well

I put glock night sights on my first glock and found out right away that i shot better with the original sights, i'm not switching on my current glock unless i can find a front glow sight that will work with the standard rear sight. i heard some people do that, but i haven't looked into it yet. at close range in the dark i would think the front sight would do the job

You could get just a front night sight and keep the stock rear. Ameriglo sells separate front sights that are the right height to use with the stock rear.

After reading one of the posts I did some digging in the dirt (ba dum cha!) and found this

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/7-GL212GRC

Its a shame glock doesn't make a night sight version of their system. Anyone know why?

Because its much more difficult to make a U-shaped tritium vial to fit inside the sight, and the plastic factory sight isn't sturdy enough to support and protect the lamp.

Check out the Warren tactical and heine sights that are "straight eight" configuration - one bright dot in the front and a single dimmer dot in the rear. A proper sight picture is front dot over rear dot, so ot looks like a figure eight.

Sent from the USS Sulaco, while nuking the site from orbit.

FYI, I don't think the picture in that link matches the description. That Ameriglo's ProGlo front sight which has a lime green ring around the tritium (instead of the typical white ring). Not a bad thing, just want to be sure you don't go by that picture.

Ameriglo also makes a front sight with an orange ring around the tritium and the standard white ring. Depending on what model Glock you have, you probably want a 0.165" height front sight. The standard Glock front sight is 0.140" wide. Ameriglo also makes a 0.125" wide front sight which I prefer (allows for more light between front and rear sight). Check our all their options here:

Just in case you might find interesting, an XS big dot front sight makes a useable sight picture in conjunction with the white "cup" design factory rear. It would only give you one tritium vial(the front), but I've run many pistols with only a front night sight over the years, and done fine in dim light shooting. Be safe
