Does it have a reticle linked to a ballistic cam to internally adjust the zero as range setting changes? Eliminating a pesky range computation can greatly extend range capability.

Looking to buy the nikon monarch 4-16x42mm bdc, so no I don't think it has a ballistic cam. I'm just wondering, what yardage can be acheived "ballpark" with a 16 power?
For anyone who has used multiple Nikon reticles, which do you prefer? I've read user reviews on amazon complaining the reticle is too thick and others saying it's too thin. Knowing that most people are idiots, I hold your opinions higher than a shooter that might be on Amazon, and I'd like to know what you guys who've used them think about them.
