I continue in my gift giving
For years, my son rented cars. When my stepmom number 2 died a couple of months ago, he was left the family car. So, today, the gift package for his car arrived - including a Buck 110, Victorinox Champion, and a top rated Leatherman (model forgotten) - all used and restored. The box also included a stainless steel water bottle and a decent high lumen flashlight.
The girlfriend's grown sons have birthdays and Christmas is coming up - used and restored leathermen, Ka Bar folders have been sharpened and gift wrapped.
I went over the top this week and bought ahead more Ka Bar non cataloged folders, Ontario partially serrated Rat 1s and Marttiinni fixed blades for future gifts. I will sharpen them over the next few weeks.
For myself, I bought my second Bob Lum (deceased designer) folder being marketed through a Seki consortium of knife makers. Bob Lum's work closely resembles Al Mar designs that were and are produced in Seki. I put those folders in Benchmade 2 way cordura belt sheaths.

I pulled the trigger on my very first "new" benchmade, I have had several but usually hand me downs from my dad (he's a knife nut) but i Bought this awesome knife about a week ago and i love it. The only complaint i have is the finish on the clip chips and wears super easy. I bumped it on a metal desk in the booking area and it chipped the black paint, but other than that I love it.

I actually don't have much love for Randalls. They're fine knives, just don't do a thing for me

And of course the Hinderers are my favorites.
