PSL, FPK, whatever you want to call it.
I had it out and I figured I'd share some picts before the sun went down and/or my food burned.
It has an 8x fixed power scope. I have the original IOR scope someplace.
This is a replacement that century sent me after I had to turn in an original military issue PSL/FPK because it had a third hole in the receiver. It's a good shooter.
Enjoy!

I've had one for a few years, a Cugir; the 8x42 POSP scope is a big upgrade from the older 4x.
I have a ton of 147 grain Russian surplus x54, and that rifle likes it a lot....It's one of my favorite rifles to shoot.

I wish I could get one in NJ. That's a beautiful rifle you have. I would suggest you get into handloading and free float the barrel, from what I've heard you can get good accuracy that way as long as it isn't rapid fire.

The Cugir built PSL is one of my favorite rifles. I wish Inter-Ordnance would import more in 7.62 NATO. At least I-O offered 6X & 8X scopes with their PSLs.

Why can't you get one in NJ? it has a 10 round magazine, no bayonet lug, and I don't think they count it as having a pistol grip, as that's more of a thumbhole stock by definition;
It is a semi, and it does have a muzzle device, but other than that, I don't see why the gulag states would have it on a ban list....

Thanks, guys!
Mine is a '77 dated Cugir. Mine seems to group better with Czech light ball.
As for where I bought it, I got it from http://www.snipercountrypx.com/ a number of years ago. The owner is a great guy to deal with.
I bought the scope from http://kalinkaoptics.com/. It was ~$150.
The IO imported SSGs are cool!
TGG, nice!
