Wasnt the guy basically shooting at his feet while in the "redneck hot-tub"? 
I do have to wonder what pistols actually pass this beach Bubba test though?

They did this "test" to a sig,beretta,XD, and a 1911. The videos are up there.

Your group is the ones who failed. Anyone who was a sculpted beard (or whatever the term is for the crap that was on the the one guys face) has no credibility.
The comment about water washing off the lubricant was idiotic. Oil is insoluble so dunking the gun will not wash of the lubricant. Seems to me that this video was set up so the pistol would fail.

You did not read the comments on his video. He explains how the normal gun safety rules are only for beginners. That true experienced shooters do not need to follow those rules.

Last I heard Darwin Awards were only awarded posthumously. Shooting yourself in the foot might get you an honorable mention or something. I could be wrong - haven't checked lately.
