Anyone have a Benelli M4?
I have several 870's one a Wilson custom but lately I've been looking at a Benelli M4. I hate the LONG pistol grip stock and don't think the slider is worth the$$$. Your thoughts?

I have one.........
The C-Stock is totally worth it, however, I purchased mine for a not-so-high price. I do agree that $500+ is insane. If you don't want the C-Stock, you could always get a Mesa Tactical Urbino stock, which puts the LOP around 12". The Urbino stock is around $100.

If I get one I think I'll have to have the C-Stock. I have an M-4 that I can buy right now at $1400 which I think is a pretty good price. I just don't understand that damn LONG stock Benelli put's on it.

I like the collapsible stock since it fits into a soft gun case easier. The 14" barrel also helps.

I used a factory Benelli +2 extension. Freedom Fighter Tactical makes good ones as well.

I digg mine. It wouldn't cycle light/cheap ammo when I first got it until I really lubricated it.

Not trying to run you off here but check out the Benelli forum. Those guys know their stuff! I like my M2 with a 18in. barrel and factory plus 4 extension.
Have you seen the M2 3 gun model, forget what it is exactly called? Crazy expensive but looks cool.

I am thinking M4 because of the gas piston system which everyone says has less recoil and handles lighter loads better.

I had one, had to contact benelli to figure out why $100's of loads didnt cycle through properly.
Different brands, shots, loads. Nothing.
They sent me a replacement bottle of the Graphite lube, lubed it to their specs, same thing.
Had to hand cycle after each shot. Sold it.

That sucks. Mine wouldn't cycle the 100 round Walmart Federal value packs until I put about 50 rounds of high-brass 00 buck through it.......now it runs on everything I can feed it.

I wouldn't mind getting one, but. I just think of the 2 or 3 other shotguns that I could buy for what one costs and that makes me doubt that I will have one anytime soon.
