Yeah Hornady hit the market right in the sweet spot. Cabelas had a bunch of them the last time I was at the local store. The fools can buy the gimmick Zombie ammo and leave the good stuff for me.

If I'd been in charge and someone brought up the idea of zombie bullets, I'd tell them to stop wasting time and get back to work.

I guess that's why I'm not a CEO.

Yeah, heard my radio station talking about them the other day. Hornady's marketing department scores a win because they have radio stations telling people that these are specifically made for zombies because regular bullets won't work. And they're selling out...

One of these days I may buy a box just for the sake of having one, put it in the safe next to the Black Talons.

I saw some at the LGS, .223 and 7.62x39. I might pick up a couple boxes of each for the novelty factor.

Wait....isn't it racist to talk about shooting zombies?

Only if the Zombie is black and the shooter looks "white".

Hornady offers the green tip "Z-Max" bullets for reloaders also.

COme on guys, it's brilliant marketing. In the age of the world makets, tough to compete with cheap Russian ammo, so find a gimick. It's agreat gimic! Good for Hornady. Just remember, zombie survival is about ammo supply & stamina. If you run out of ammo or can't run, you are zombie toast.

Now that's funny, and because when I loaded up on mine it was because they were about $5 per box cheaper than critical defense.

Sent from my LTEvo, please pardon typos.

I've got a box of the 12 gauge and a box of the 40s&w. I am kinda one of "those" Zombie people in that I love reading and watching Zombie stuff. I don't really think were gonna have a Zombie outbreak, but if we did...........I'm ready ammo wise lol.

My dealer can't keep it in stock. He laughs with me about it. Even if you tell somebody it's the same and costs more they buy it up.

I read somewhere that people that don't even own guns are going out and buying this zombie max ammo just as novelty a item. IMO, Hornady was brilliant for marketing ammo toward the "zombie market". Why not bank on what people are scared of(and joke about, I know). It was a brilliant business decision for Hornady IMO.

When they come out with an anti ex-wife round I'll start to pay attention.

I'm thinking it's going to have to be a hybrid type of round; part silver bullet, part wooden stake, covered with the overpowering stench of garlic and a small piece of parchment folded up in the hollow-point with a printed declaration that the alimony check is in the mail.

Until then I'm going to rely on my present enrollment in the Witness Protection Program... and hookers.

Jack, you aren't paying attention. AN ex-wife is exactly what a zombie is: Never dies unless you shoot it in the head & sucks the life out of you.
