Bushmaster 450 Upper

I have been on the look out for a Bushmaster 450 upper. Does anyone make one other than Bushmaster?

Correct, further more Bushmaster is junk and thats a round you will go broke shooting.

If you want to shoot a big chunk of lead, get a Mossberg 930 and shoot slugs.

Yes, Trident Armory does. Go to 450bushmaster.net with any questions that you may have.

Thanks for the tip, I will look at their site. I went there yesterday but they were having problems.

I suspected that someone had a knock off product.

Our family has had 6 Bushmasters for near 2.5 decades and never ever had a jam or broken parts in 1000,s of rounds. One super reliable well made rifle. I just shot my old Bushmaster A1 carbine today 200rds of Steel Tula ammo. Less than 3" groups at 100yds and 50yds dime size groups from the rest and bag. Even ejection and smooth operation with the cheap Tula ammo. I mosty shoot 193 Federal ball, but today I had some Gifted free Tula to blast. It was clean shooting and easy to clean after words. I lube and clean with Ballistol German Sportsman oil. Makes easy clean up and reliable action. My son has a new Bushy made this year and its been super to.

Bushmasters that were manufactured seven or eight years ago
were good to go. Newly manufactured Bushmasters? I would
place them below DPMS, Olympic & Molel 1 Sales

While I am sure Bushy can put out a quality weapon, they have just been FAR too hit and miss the past few years.

Its a shame, they used to make great rifles, but now it is hit or miss since they've become part of a huge corporation. Windham Weaponry is the old Bushy, and theyve been getting good reviews.

I have high hopes for Windham, personally.

I have 1 Bushmaster rifle(M4A1) and 1 Bushmaster upper(450B). Both are excellent and have had absolutely no malfunctions. I have over 2000 rounds, mostly steel crap, through the rifle. It was purchased new in 2008. The upper was purchased new last year and so far it's been great as well. However, they both were manufactured in Windham, Maine. Any new purchases will come from Windham Weaponry for this reason!

My son was shooting his Bushmaster last year and it want bang on him. As of yet they have not fixed it. They said they will send him a new one. He hasn't gotten it yet. They said they couldn't tell if it was the rifle or the Winchester ammo that cosed the problem.

Not sure if you're serious... Great thread though OP - I've been looking for the same info.

Yes, I was very serious. This happened and it hasn't been taken care of yet by them. The case was split and blown out. Like it had went off before it was chambered. It cracked the bolt did some other damage to the rifle. My son wasn't hurt just his rifle.

How come is so hard for some to stick to the original post instead of bashing which have nothing to do with the platform?
