New from NJ

Hi all,
My name is Eddie and I am from the awful gun state of NJ. I am new to firearms. I have my purchased my first two in the last 3 months. I purchased a Ruger SR22p back in March as My cheap shooter and last week I just purchased a Glock 19 Gen 4.

I have not yet shot it at the range yet. I hope to this weekend coming up. I am a bit worried about the ejection issues but I really loved the way the gun fits in my hand, and I loved how the G17 Gen 4 shot when I rented it.

I am here to learn all I can about Glocks and general firearm info. I am also here to live vicariously through most of you with decent gun laws. We have a few organizations here in NJ that are working hard to fight for our rights. They are making headway slowly but surely.

I look forward to learning from you all

Thats about an hr away from where I'm from, but i have been to both shore shot and brick armory. I believe those are the closest ranges to me that allow rentals. I am the only one out of my group of friends that owns a firearm so I go to BulletHole(25 minutes away) if I'm not bringing more than one person along.

Eddie - you should check out Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (www.gssfonline.com). It's a national shooting competition circuit that's very noob-friendly.

This weekend (June 16-17) is the annual GSSF match in Jackson, NJ at the Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club, probably not far from you.
