Denver area carry laws?
Im a kansas resident and concealed permit holder and ive double checked that Colorado honors my permit, but im on my way there and just wanted to see what the vibe there was. Specifically the Denver area. Any weird local laws in Golden, Denver or Boulder I need to know about?
Just wondering if any locals would know as I couldnt really find anything online.
Thanks

They harass their own citizens for carrying.

I live just south of Denver proper. I have just started carrying a G23 (OC) but have sent in my app for CHP. In the meantime as I said I have been OCing to get a jump on the feeling. I have had only good experiences OCing including one MWAG incident. I think Colorado is mostly pretty open to carrying. Denver prohibits OC but allows CC. I have heard that Boulder might be finicky but have not carried there. Only heard rumors. Not to say you might not run into some rough spots as LEOs can vary in their view and handling encounters. The one LEO contact I had while OCing was entirely pleasant.

Your fine, CCW laws are the same statewide here. Individual municipalities can't pass ordinances that supersede state law. Don't worry from town to town just abide by the state statutes. Call the state patrol if you have questions reguarding Colorado CCW laws, they will help you out.

This.
Check out the CO doc from Handgunlaws.us as well.
Good, easy-to-understand CC laws here as there are only 3 places you can't carry with a permit.

Last Tuesday night I was in an accident in Westminster, CO. Athough not required I informed both police officers that I was carrying.
Their attitude was, "Frankly, Scarlett...". I was wasting my time informing them.

If you're carrying concealed, the locals won't know.
