Seen the taurus .380acp revolver yet?

Was wondering if anybody has first hand experience with one.

I actually saw one close-up and in person at the range a couple of weeks ago. It was a nice gun, but to be honest I just don't see the point of a 5-shot snub 380. Oh well, to each their own.

No need to buy other calibers if you already have a mini .380acp auto, then get the "j" frame in the same caliber.

The gun looks smaller than a standard j frame too.

I've seen one in person and it didn't seem any smaller than any other snub out there on the market. I don't see the point unless you have more money than brains.

Google search turned this up next to a DB380

Click the image to open in full size.

Yup, that sure is, something.

The LGS has one. About $350 I believe.

I have a number of .380 pistols and have a LOT of .380 ammo. I thought about getting the revolver but really don't have any use for it since I pocket carry one of several small .380 pistols.
And it's DAO. I don't like DAO.

It's a little smaller than a J Frame.
Looks like it's decently made.

I am guessing this may not end up being at the top of the highest sales.

Pointless, unless you have lots of .380 ammo, and other .380 pistols and just "want" a revolver in the same round.

I saw one... I'm just praying I never see one again!

I give credit for Taurus for coming up with new ideas... I just don't see myself buying a Taurus gun... wish they'd change the name of the company...maybe it would "help"

that is the problem. Anyone can sit around coming up with new ideas. Here is one off the top of my head. How bout a revolver that shoots 30-40krag. See, that was easy. The problem Taurus has is that they can't say no to a bad idea, and when they greenlight the idea they can't build a quality product.

I think these 380 revolvers are more for markets where you may not use a military cartridge, just like the large 380 ACP Glock sold in certain markets.

Some people have problems with recoil and this revolver might help.

Personally, something like a 380 revolver is very low on the list of desirable weapons. 38 Special seems to be a better choice for the little revolver.

Out there in fly-over country...
