Hello from Texas
New member and wanted to say hello. I own a G19 and G27 and (regretfully) just sold a first gen G17. Anyone have any advice on IWB holsters? I am using a Glaco leather one for the 27 but I'm thinking about a crossbreed...

I have a horsehide Crossbreed Supertuck for my G26 and I am very pleased with it. I haven't tried any others.
Welcome to GT.

Hello deadmanglocking, welcome to Glock Talk from a fellow Texan. BTW, cool user name.
A shielded holster is a comfortable favorite for Inside Waistband (IWB) concealed carry. There are some good choices in this holster type; among the best are the Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe, that you mentioned, and the Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC.
You should also take a look at the custom shielded holsters made by Glock Talk member Theis. He has a long list of satisfied customers here at Glock Talk. His holsters are a good bargain for quality work and good delivery time. He offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee, lifetime warranty. Wear it two weeks, if you don't like it, return it for a full refund. You can visit his web site at TheisHolsters.com.
All of the above holsters have a large number of fans here at Glock Talk.

Thank you for the welcomes and I will look at some of your suggestions. I am using the summer comfort but I'm not really pleased with it. I'm 6' and 195 and still don't feel I'm adequately concealed with the 27 mush less my 19 without an over shirt. I want something to throw on with shorts/jeans and a t-shirt

I have a crossbreed for my 26 and a VMII for my 4th gen 19.
Both work great.
Had to wait for the VM II but the crossbred took about 3 weeks.
Cann't go wrong with either one.

Deadmanglocking in Texas
I have a Kolbeson IWB appendix carry for the 26/27 if you want to try it out. I live in the friendly state of Tejas and like helping fellow Glockers from the Lone Star Republic. I've been wanting to try the summer comfort from Galco for awhile now. You want to do a trial trade? I also have a Black Galco SOB OWB too.

I'm also a fellow Texan and to beat the heat and sweat I carry a G27 in an X-Concealment pancake holster with IWB loops. The kydex isn't very sweaty in the heat and I don't have to worry about sweat soaking in like with leather. However, I recently purchased a DB9 to make summer carry even easier.

Welcome. I use the crossbreed supertuck with my 26 and 19 and think it works great. I am about your size and wear the holster at about 4:00 for maxium concealment under a tee shirt or polo worn out. Of course, your pant size needs to be a little bigger and you will need a good belt.
