My civilian carry is a Parker Cut Bullet with 2- 3" blades. Dang, it can really keep an edge!!!

I've already gotten some LE action with this knife. I assisted on a vehicle pursuit last week on an idiot whacked out on a 3 day cocaine binge. He would slow down to 20 then come to a stop a few times during the incident, allowing me to flatten all 4 tires with that knife. The officer with spikes finally got in position right after that and spiked him, not hearing that I had already gotten the job done. It all came to a end shortly after that when another officer fired a shot at him, which missed him. Strange that the shot woke him up.

When I was in Afghanistan, in 2009, the unit in charge of our advisor group issued us Gerber Fairbairn Applegate Combat Folders that we were allowed to keep - that was pretty cool, but I've never used it.
While I am currently fighting with the Army over my hearing loss, to try and get another deployment, I am putting together an Ek Model 4 from parts. It should be pretty cool when I'm finished. The micarta grip panels, X fasteners and cross guard are being delivered today. Like the Becker I took on my last deployment, it will never be used, but a soldier needs a cool knife, anyhow.

Recently got a Kershaw Skyline and really like it for an everyday beater. Very light and holds an edge better than it should.

Well for 30 years I have carries a Spydeco Endura, but wanted something to hang hinge down in the left pocket for use in case of a gun grab from the rear. I did not realize so many companies were making knives with this option and happened across the CRKT M16-14ZSF. Those hand guards on the blade also work as "flippers" to open the blade, I have discovered that by digging the flipper on the top of the blade into the corner of the front pocket the blade will open as you draw, no switchblade could be faster, and the blade is scalpel sharp!!!
Picture shows my old Spyderco on the bottom and the new CRKT on top

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Endura came out in 1990.
