FYI, American Eagle brand .30-06 ball for Garand is now available
I just saw a bunch of ammo at a local shop with the marking on the cover that shows M1 Garand safe. So I had to hoard up a few hundred rounds. Hoorah!!! Don't have to worry about finding 1940s surplus ammo any more.

That ammo has been around for a few years now. Pretty pricey to. Did you get a good deal on it? Last I saw it was about 1$ a round.

Bought some of those a couple years back can't remember for how much but I know they were not cheap. We have a friend who reloads them for us. He does a very nice job at reloading them.

Really? This is the first time I've seen it. The other ones were just 150-gr ball without the Garand marking on them.
These ones were about the same price as the non-Garand American Eagle ball.

I know AE has been making it off and on for a while, I've seen it on the CMP store off and on.

$17.99/20-rds. Not cheap, but I'm hoping that the shop may have some Memorial Day sales next week on the ammo so that I can buy some more. I have a Garand and an Enfield P-27 to feed and they're hungry!!!
