Gun Myth w/ James "JaegerMeister" Yeager
Take a gander at this....I think he brings up a few valid points. One area people might disagree/agree is that he says steel cases ammo doesn't mess extractors up b/c the metal casing's metal isn't as hard as an extractor or ejector....

Same Yeager that wanted to go to Iraq for some combat cred and got his men killed while he ran away?

He's just like a Glock, there is a love hate relationship with him. he makes some good points but like anyone on youtube or in life not everyone is gonna like or agree with you. he can sometimes be extreme and that can also make people not like him. I like his videos and even though I may not agree with everything he says, I respect him and his long resume in the field.

His long resume of tactically advancing to the rear while his team was taking fire?

Do you guys have more info on this , I would hate to ever support anyone who would run especially if they were on our side over there. We didnt have anyone one in my squads or fire teams act like a coward over there but if there were they'd be ****** after the dust settled.

Please tell me you didn't sit through 26 minutes of him or I'll have to stop taking you seriously
I clicked on it to see if I got Flashplayer sorted out since I'm playing around with Chromium. As soon as he came up on screen and I saw that the video was 26 minutes, I clicked back out of it.

A lot of BS comes back from downrange. I would never expect a civilian to be able to deal with the environment as well as a soldier. People come up with all sorts of stories and some may be accurate and others not.
Many people get nervous under fire. In a training environment, it is tough to tell who will be better in dealing with it.
Just remember, the civilians do not have the supports military units have. Often, the smart move is to fall back. They are not military fighting units and we should adjust our expectations accordingly.

So you're saying it was ok for him to get his people killed and run away because he was a civilian?

Maybe he should have stayed stateside in a cubicle somewhere and not put anyone at risk of, I don't know, dying.

So what your saying is, its ok to leave your buddies to die? I would rather have a former felon out on work-release covering my back, than have Yeager covering my ass overseas.

Yeager chose to go to Iraq as a contractor and when the bullets flew he chose to run from his car with wounded still in the car and the car itself in the kill zone
To top that off he blames the car for getting his men killed and uses that video in the show "one man army" to show he has combat cred
Tell you what, go to Downtown Tehran with Yeager and when bullets fly and he leaves you again I'll say to your widow that he was only a civilian and you should adjust your expectations accordingly

So what you're saying is, if you're in a Toyota and it's getting ventilated with automatic weapons in place known for it's RPG's, you're going to stand on your principles and stay in the middle of the road?

I'd take the parking brake off and exit the ambush zone, that I would never have parked my GD car in in the first place.
He balled it up from start to finish, don't try and defend it as anything but failure.
