Agreed. However, I'd still have my G-35 with my 9mm and 357 Sig conversion barrels if I could only have one. But I'd have plenty O' mags and am saving for a supressor.

And just for desk ninja ****'s and giggles I'm in a rural location with a town population of about 10-11,000. Hell, I got way more ammo than that loaded up right now and the possibility of reloading more.

lol, dude, that's a 6" barreled M586 S&W in .357 Magnum, not a 5-shot .460 Magnum. Big difference there.

That Glock 1911 is great! It made me stop and look too lol! I think that's going to be my favorite pic for this thread.

Definitely awesome!

The gun in the Walking Dead is a Colt Python in .357.

wavetrain75 made the comment that Revolvers were a terrible choice for zombies.

I feel they would work just fine, no matter the caliber.

Pair of G19s, with Trijicon night sights, in thigh holsters.
As many magazines as I could reasonably carry
S&W 10 round .22 revolver as a back-up
Whatever long-arm I could lay my mitts on fastest. I'm not picky when my hide is at risk.

Slainte!

I agree. At least that's what they called it on the show... But they also showed a guy using the slide stop on a Glock as a thumb safety

Someone posted a pic of an 8 shot S&W .357 magnum with a three inch barrel (I think) a couple weeks ago. Too lazy to go find it but that would be a slick zombie killer.

I would think, as has been pointed out already, that the most important factor would be capacity. However, let's not forget we'll probably have a long arm. Well, those of us who prepared for the coming zombie apocalypse will anyway.

Ideally, for me, I'd go .22 w/ a sparrow can.

(not my picture, just my goal)
Otherwise, I may go with my HK45c with an osprey.

Dont own one and not a real big fan of the caliber for SD, but a FN 5.7x28 would be great for zombies. Very accurate, 20-30 capacity, and very mild recoil makes sense for head shots on zombies.
