I sold my class III Uzi when I left Alaska. It was easy to shoot 2 and 3 shot bursts (if memory serves me correctly the cyclic rate was around 600 rounds/minute), but it was relatively heavy which made it fairly controllable in full auto but that also made it a pain to carry. It fires from an open bolt which does not help with accuracy. It would not have been my choice for an ambush/counter-ambush and/or entry weapon, which is how I view a 9mm submachine gun.

Oh my god I missed this guys threads. I used to love them! Come on Conpro an Uzi? Why not a BAR? If I was gonna make up a thread I would put a BAR into the script.

Oh geez I just looked through this thread, I cant believe people actually believe it.

12 years ago in Israel the only Uzis I saw were on a senior officer (Mini-Uzi), and civilians working in the kibbutzes (which defend themselves), like farmers and things. Lot of M-1 carbines for that sort of thing as well.
Also the female solders - at least during that time.

Why wouldn't I? I don't know that guy from you, why would I blankly assume people fabricate topics for internet threads? How do we know you're not the liar? Just saying.

This, man I forgot about that one. It is seriously fun reading through his threads with a bourbon and coke. "well I just got an ACOG". "Well I just got a Colt and it is sweet". "Should I get a DPMS or Novekse?" Should I stay at Waldorf Astoria or the Motel 6?
