Yeah, they are different.
Just weird enough looking to be cool. My camera though tended to wash the color though, they look brighter then they really are. Not much brighter though, just a bit.
They are pretty much the standard hogue rubber grip though, nothing really special. I do believe you can get nylon grips with a scull, or aluminum grips with the bio hazard logo.
