25077 870 parts upgrade
I remember a post by aippi maybe that listed a few small parts and springs that should be upgraded. The MIM extractor and some springs I think. It had a number to call Remington and part numbers. I can't find it to save my life (pun intended). Help please.

And replacing the MIM extractor with the forged one. Once the extractor and carrier dog spring are replaced, you will have the 870P in terms of the trigger and receiver group. Brownells carriers the parts as well as the Rem County Store.

I don't want the heavier sear spring or the metal trigger group. I put the part numbers in the Rem. Country Store for the carrier latch spring and the forged extractor, they don't have them. Found them both at Midway, which is sweet because I had 2 other items in my shopping cart.

Aippi prefers the plastic one. Good enough for me.

He used to be the po-po. That oughta count for something.

The extractor was back-ordered at Midway so I got the carrier latch spring and extractor at Brownell's. Now I will be up to Po-Po standards. Here's my new 25077 with one piece magazine tube:
Here's some Military 00 buck I picked up at Cabela's for $4.99 for a box of 5:

FYI - The OD green shells you have are just a marketing gimmick. Tests show these are nothing more than the Winchester 15 pack buckshot you can buy at Walmart for $10. It just comes in a plain box with some OD hulls.
Disclaimer - I bought some too and wasn't overly impressed with it.

Hornswaggled? I wouldn't say that. Instead, I'd say the Winchester's marketing was successfully executed.
