Who loves the G22?

I put another 250 rounds through my gen 4 G22, and I don't remember my circa 1997 G22 being as accurate or soft shooting. I am am really digging the full size ... again.

I really like mine, and I'll like it even more when I get a new barrel for it so I can reload.

I personally hate the G22. The odd grip does not fit my hand. I'm hoping I will like the gen 4 G22 better. I'll let you know when they come in and we are issued them.

I'm just not much of a 40S&W fan, but I can see the appeal.

I think my Gen 4 G22 shoots a lot more softer than the Gen 3 G22 that I owned. Pops

Prior to the G4, I would choose the 23 over the 22 any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Now, I am sold on the Glock 22. I shoot it much better than my Gen. 2. The Gen. 2 is just unpleasant to me.

Love them

Two years ago I walked into Scottsdale Gun Club where I am a member and they had a case of G22 police trade-ins for $299 each. I was allowed to paw through them all and I picked two that must have been carried by desk officers, because they were like brand new. Both shoot with perfection. One is my bedside weapon and the other does mixed duty in other capacities including my predator hunting close in weapon. My EDC is a G36 however.

I have a G17 and G34, both with light/medium triggers. I purchased a Gen G22 in Feb. Like it a lot, but need to work on getting used to the standard Glock trigger. I use the G22 as my EDC CC weapon.

The Glock 22 is a great pistol and for me its even better with the Gen 4 no back straps but I prefer the Gen 3 mag release.

The OP asked who LOVES the G22, not HATES them. Perhaps English isn't your first language?

While I'm not really a fan of the round, I DO really like the G22. I have an early Gen.3 that I carry on duty and a Gen.4 that I've put 500 flawless rounds through so far. My duty pistol has easily had over 10,000 rounds put through it (I'm a LEO that DOES like to shoot) and has never malfunctioned.
