What do you mean? If you believe it, that makes it true. Isn't that how it works? Doesn't matter if its from the Onion, you're just shooting the messenger because you can't dispute the argument.

The clip is a joke, people. As pointed out The Onion is satire.
Teaching bunnies their own mortality... that is funny. I'm still trying to teach them what is Intelligent about their needing to eat their food once, then pass the smelly mucousy cecotropes and eat those in order to get the needed nutrients.

aside from anything religous, the ape in the video only appears to be showing the hand signs he was taught,
i dont think the ape ACTUALLY understands that he/she will die one day,
just cause the show him a dead ape and say that will be him one day dosent mean he will understand,
what they show him is that dead ape in repatition and that repatition is what he/she understands, not that he/she will end up like that one day
JMHO YMMV

I actually consider TheOnion about as credible if not more credible then the bible. I have seen more than a few of The Onion stories that seem like they could actually happen. At least they admit they aren't real though.

I really really really hope that was meant to be humorous.
And I hope that those responses that seemed serious, were also in jest.
It would be very depressing if all ya 'all really took that seriously.
