Dude, I think you've just lost your new toy to the old lady.
Can you dig it?

I am affraid to let my better half touch my 44. I made her shoot my 10mm since that is what is usually out and wanted her to know what to expect. She didn't like it.
Thats great your wife enjoyed it.

My wife had hunted her whole life before I met her but her family NEVER had handguns around. Her uncles and Dad and borther had her very recoil fearful. She hunted with a .222 Remington because they told her anything else would wreck her. She's 5'10" and could easily handle a bigger round. I got her to shooting handguns. After training and practice I got her to get her CCP and start carrying a J-frame or a Glock 26. I tried to get her to shoot .45s and other ones. A friend got her to shoot his 1911 and now there isnt anything she wont shoot. We were unwinding .44 mags during a range session with friends the other day and now she wants her own 1911.

Its great having her understand and enjoy my hobbies but I think I have created a monster...
