RMR'd pistol just returned

Althugh I'm a Glock lover, I just had an M&P45 milled with an RMR 02 (8 MOA) installed by Mark Housel. My department just switched over to the M&P45 so I've been shooting it quite a bit. This particular pistol has been sitting in my safe for a while so I sent it to Mark for the install. It came out great.

I wanted to post pics, but I'll leave this for now.

Looks great!

My G17's slide is also with Mark at the moment to get some milling done on it as well.

Mark Housel does excellent work, it looks terrific!

I'm curious, for the M&P45, is it necessary to use a shortened screw(s) for the RMR to avoid moving parts below as with the Glock on one side to avoid the extractor depressor plunger?

I actually think it might look better on an M&P, but I could never get a good hand fit with one. Excellent work, you are going to love it. What holster will you be using?

No, the M&P uses full length (1/2") screws on both sides.

1911,

Is the glow off your front sight or the rear sight making the dot?

Mag Ten,
I believe that that is the dot from the RM02. IMHO one of the advantages of the RM07 is adjustable brightness.
