Best replacement barrel for Glock 30???
I've had some bad experiences with a LWD Glock 30 replacement barrel and am interested in your experiences with some of the other replacement barrel makers.
What manufacturers do you recommend, what problems did you have tweaking your lead reloads (if any) to get them to feed, and how was the warranty policies of that company????
Thanks for the wealth of your experiences.

Why not just get another Glock barrel? KKM makes good barrels, but I don't have any experience with them.

KKM hands down. LWD, in my experience, is junk. Used to be an LWD dealer, but my customers have had so many issues with lead it's unreal. Tried to talk sense into LWD, but they are morons. I changed to buying LWD barrels and properly recutting the chamber for lead, but it was more labor and less profit, so I dropped them.
KKM is the only barrel I put in my pistol. Period.

What's wrong with the stock barrel?
If you need an aftermarket barrel I would go with KKM. I've had two of their 10mm to .40 conversions and they were flawless feeders with my handloads.

The black barrel that Glock includes with the gun free of charge works great IME.

Even if your shooting lead try the lead combo in your stock barrel first. Use a Medium speed powder (Unique, WSF) and load it to a mid-range level. Try that first. You may be surprised it works fine.
If the above doesn't work get a KKM.

If the above doesn't work get a 1911.

I would choose a Bar-Sto barrel if I had to use an aftermarket barrel. I would also send my slide to Bar-Sto and let them fit the barrel to the slide. They do make drop in and semi drop in barrel also. You will have roughly half the cost of a new Glock in the barrel.
I use the factory Glock barrel though as it works just fine.

But it doesn't look as cool as a stainless barrel in a black slide. Like cherry cabinets in a kitchen with white walls. Marvelous contrast.

I replaced all my Glock OEM barrels with KKM barrels. I think they are more accurate. They make me happy.

Go to General Glocking. All kinds of people polish off the black on their factory barrels. They even put white crayon in the roll marks
