Single stack (i.e. slim grip) S&W M&P. Should sell a ton as the single stack poly guns are doing well. Springfield is coming out with a single stack .45 ACP XDm this month

Yeah well unless Glock can 100 percent manufacture a single stack Glock in the USA, its not going to happen.

If Glock ever gets to say only fifty thousand pistols behind in manufacturing as opposed to the two or three hunderd thousand that they seem to remain about constantly behind by, I suspect they may consider branching out in their product line a bit.

Well I definitely want one. Damn it I just bought a G26. Maybe the G26 will cease to be the "gold standard" of pocket 9's. Mag extensions (plus capacity) would help bolster the M&P's success.

It's cool. Another single-stack 9 to add to the party.

This can be said for many things
In this case I'd have to shoot it first, I wonder what the trigger will be like.

They can. They have a full production facility in Georgia where they make Glocks for importation to countries that won't import from Austria. There is no reason they couldn't make weapons for sale in the USA.
