I'm not adverse to showing a lady a courtesy and lowering the set before I leave the room. Just takes a second, but i'm human too and I might forget from time to time. It so happens that there was this one gal the would read me the riot act if her seat wasn't in place when the feeling moved her. I would hear about it every time there was the slightest failure on my part to insure that her highness was fully prepared when she entered the drop zone. That's how I got into the habit of lowering both seats when I leave the room. Makes things a little more equal like.
