Well, after a blazing weekend up in the high 80's, Monday cooled off a lot and yesterday had sprinkling and overcast weather, then it rained early this morning already... WTF?

I only sparkle during a real good workout!
Funny you mention the LA image tho. Ran into a girl today who was wearing "stunner" shades and WAY too much makeup. One of the guys asked her what she did for a living and she said "I'm moving out to Hollywood to be an actress." I just shook my head as he drooled over her. Wearing glitter, 3 layers of makeup and sunglasses at night that cover 1/3 of your ugly *** face doesn't make you an actress, honey, it makes you pathetic...

Ummm... yeah... we are the porn capital of America... if she ever really comes out here, she'll have to learn to take breakfast orders at a greasy spoon to make ends meet, then realize she ain't nothing amidst the sea of beautiful people we have out here, all of whom are trying to be famous.
Then she'll get approached by some guys who profess to be "producers" and then turn her out at either a strip joint or take her to some porn shoot in the San Fernando Valley.
Seen it too many times out here with the doe eyed hopefuls from podunk cities.

Cheap textbooks this semester for a change! a grand total of $28.33, of course if they were bought new it would of been well over $500.00 Classes start next week, no rest for the wicked I suppose.

Well, getting no sleep, and off to the Oaks tomorrow! (The big horse race the day before the Kentucky Derby; locals usually go to Oaks instead. It's for the phillies only.

2 days out of 4 in the books and I swear I'm beat for no particularly good reason. Didn't work very hard or anything, been fighting a headache the last 4 or so hours, but I have zero motivation or energy for some reason. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better...
