2000 rounds of Winchester Ranger +P 124gr 9mm FMJ for my Glcok at $424 shipped. Pretty good price for pretty good ammo at sgammo.com. You can't find 2000 rounds in one place here very often except for Wolf steel cased, and the quality stuff is definitely more expensive than $10.60 a box here as well. Get it before the price doubles after the election!

About the same at my local Walmart. Maybe 22 per 100.
40 is around 30 per 100,45 is about 35.

Best prices I've found are at Cabela's or Wally World. Usually 9mm will run between $10 & $11 / box of 50 or ~2X that for a box of 100.

Lucky Gunner is not too bad on S&H but you really have to price around. Some have deals at different times.
One thing I latched onto a few years ago was a state and ffl dealer in my area who shot alot. He created a list of other shooters in the most popular calibers and would look out for BULK orders on special. He would put out a red flag contact email when a good deal came up and get enough buyers each time to cut the cost.
Fed 9mm 115 gr FMJ 50 rd box $12 OTD, 40's-155gr FMJ $15 OTD etc. No signing for UPS delivery, tax etc. Not great, but not bad.

Be sure to check, some places ship for less if shipping to a business as opposed to a residence. Why? I dunno, but they do. If you have a bud that has a biz that you can use his addy, then do it. Charges are usually 3-4 bucks less.

Shipping to businesses is always cheaper because the delivery driver has a regular route that takes them by that business daily. Home delivery requires the driver to go off route to deliver. UPS is getting real critical of how their drivers "drive" around here. They are putting sensors all over on the trucks and have driver meetings every morning with drivers that go "the wrong way" too many times the day before. They know how long and far a driver is in reverse, if he is in his seat, if the bulk head door is open.

our wally's is $17 for Federal. there are 'ammo finder' apps out there, that scour the net for the best ammo deals around plus shipping. they always seem to draw to CTD or SG or ammunition to go, since they do have the best deals. i also shop around Christmas, i got 1000 of Geco i think that's the name, red and black box, russian, brass case, FMJ for $219 shipped from ammunitiontogo.com for my Glock.

I usually buy from SGAmmo or AmmunitionToGo (especially for Ranger T or HST) but I just got Lawman 45 ACP 230 grain for $18.49/box at Natchez Shooters Supply. Cheapest I've ever seen for that ammunition.

Yes. But didn't the shipping charges blow away any savings?
I'm getting the idea that WalMart and other guns shops or sporting goods stores are where to save $$$ on ammo.
Your only shipping charge is when your walk out of the store and drive home.

See my post below.
We all need to support that website and buy through them.
I am sure they have an affiliate agreement so they make a little off of what we buy.

However, I have been able to buy in bulk from SG Ammo for right around the same price. .380 ammo and .40 HPJ ammo is cheaper than I can buy locally though. Just placed an order for 200 rounds of .380 ammo for my Mom and 100 rounds of .40 HPJ ammo for myself and spent $100 OTD.

You can no longer get ammo this cheap at wolmart.
They (like everyone else) recently raised their prices.

Plus tax, no shipping... it is a wash.
In Wisconsin, if you do not pay taxes on your online purchases you are in violation of the law, of course nobody does it until they are audited and then they are anal about reporting it, hahahahaha
