I use Blazer 115gr ammo, they go $10 a box for 50 rd.
and
I also use UMC by Remington 250 rd value pack, but my local dealer doesn't stock enough of them, and they go "VERY" fast.

Sorry about that. Would really like to know both. I currently carry Double Taps 124gr +P for defensive ammo. Tho at the range I shoot Independence's 115gr ball.

In my ammo drawer I have:
Golden Sabre
Hornady Critical Defense
Hornady Zombie ammo (hey you never know)
Gold Dot +P
Gold Dots are what I'm most comfortable with. All the ammo I have will put holes in a person. I'm sure they would all stop a person with the right shot placement. But Gold Dot is what I prefer to carry because its powerful, reliable, tested and not too expensive.

G19 = Gold Dot 124gr
G26 = Gold Dot 124gr +p
I also like Rem Golden Sabers.
For range work, I roll my own, including coated lead bullets...

In 9mm, I like the Remington Golden Saber.
Range ammo is either Wallymart or Underwood.

Both are great rounds.
The Speer GDHP 124 +P groups better in my G27
with it's G23 4.02" Storm Lake 40-9mm barrel.

I'm trying not to start a caliber war, but 9mil - 9/1000th of an inch - is way too small of a bullet.
