Lasermax guide rod springs

Lasermax uses the same power spring for all compact guns. This doesn't sound right. Somebody help me out. Should you use the same spring in a 9mm as a .357sig?

Had my heart set on one for while myself; then noted a few claims of spring related issues and leaned towards an external laser. I don't know....

I have one for my 30S - sending it in for service tomorrow because it fails to go into battery. Every other shot - failed to go into battery. Less than 500 rounds through it. Also, when I shoot the recoil from the gun slides the activation switch off. If I have the laser off the recoil slides it on. Replaced the spring for the takedown lever twice. Getting a third. Also not as accurate as a Crimson Trace. I have both CT and LM. Never getting a LM again - ever! In fact selling this one once I get it back from them.

I've had my Lasermax guide rod sight for at least 5 years and 4000 thousand rounds and it is still working like it is brand new. Had to change the batteries only a couple times over the course of ownership. It is still working well and quite accurate. I will be sending it in just to put it back into specs if need be in the future but since it is working well, I'll just wait.

Just found out that Glockmeister quit selling them because so many were being returned.
