Depends...

At what price point do you feel the bank is beginning to break?

I carry the sure fire backup all the time. Great light but expensive. Stream light makes one almost identical to it for 1/3 of the cost. Can't remember the model #.

Sure fire is my #1, but my #2 is a Mini Mag. Maglight now has a LED 65 lumins kit you can put on a 2AA mini mag. Pretty damn bright in my book. That one sits in the safe with my gun.

LOL But it's LED Lumens. (I think that is what the package stated, can't remember) But it is only 2 AA batteries.

This little guy runs on a single AA an puts out 85 lumens on the highest setting.

Carry Issues

Not bad for $33 and it's only a hair bigger than the battery.

Stream light Polytac or Protac 2L. Polytac is cheaper and great.. I have a Quark 123 and wasn't impressed. Started having issues with the tailcap within a month or two.
